A concept that should come up with some interesting stories...

What if Merlin was a vampire?

I was playin' some Legacy of Kain:Defiance today, and that popped into my head. Would this explain some of the arthurian legends better this way, perhaps?

what do you guys think?

  • The premise is neat...but unfounded, I'm afraid. I don't recall in reading my Tennyson anything abour Merlin sucking blood, having any kind of antipathy toward sunlight, or otherwise being spawned by the devil. I'm not saying that you couldn't write an Arthurian myth with Merlin as a vampire, though...might be fun.
